The project focused on migrating the existing WordPress website to Webflow to gain greater flexibility, simplify content management, and prepare the platform for long-term growth. The client needed a stable, intuitive solution that supports expert-level communication around industrial and energy digitalisation.
Business context / challenge
The client operates in the industrial and energy digitalisation space, delivering advanced IT solutions. The existing WordPress-based website had become difficult to use and maintain on a daily basis. Content management was time-consuming, and further development was limited by technical constraints, making it clear that a more scalable platform was needed.
Goal guiding the entire process
The primary objective was to migrate the website to Webflow in a way that gives the client full, intuitive control over content, while creating a solid foundation for future development without the need for ongoing technical support.
Role in the project
I handled the full Webflow implementation and content migration from WordPress, focusing on keeping the visual and content identity intact while reshaping the structure to better fit Webflow’s ecosystem.
Key decisions made during the project
Instead of copying the website one-to-one, content was restructured during migration. Elements were refined to make everyday content management easier and to support growth over time. The focus was on clarity and usability for the client team, not just technical accuracy.

The most interesting challenge
The biggest challenge was to move the visual and content layer from WordPress to Webflow sensibly. The goal was not only to recreate the appearance of the site, but to implement it so that it is easier to use, ready for future changes and based on an intuitive CMS system, prepared for people who administer the site on a daily basis.
