Overview

Clarity and structure in private debt communication

A minimal structure and generic messaging were not enough to build trust or move users forward. The goal was to organise the structure, clarify communication, and create one coherent platform.

Business context / challenge

Private Debt Partners is an investment advisory firm connecting investors with companies seeking non-bank financing. Previously, the brand operated across two separate websites: one aimed at investors and another at borrowers. Each site communicated to a different audience and functioned independently, while both relied on very basic structures and conservative design.

Goal guiding the entire process

The objective of the project was to create a single, cohesive website that clearly explains the Private Debt Partners business model, organises the offer for different audience groups, and guides users from their first interaction with the brand to taking a concrete action. Equally important was defining the right visual and communication character for the website.

Role in the project

I was responsible for web design and Webflow implementation, including content structure and CMS setup. Beyond writing and arranging copy, my role focused on shaping the communication logic: defining what should be communicated, in what order, and how users should be guided through the site. I also supported the branding layer, ensuring consistency in visual style and tone of voice.

Key decisions made during the project

  • Merging two separate websites into one cohesive platform serving different audience groups.
  • Clear segmentation of content zones for investors and borrowers, allowing each group to reach relevant information without unnecessary steps.
  • Building a clear information hierarchy, starting with user needs, followed by offer details and contact.
  • Using simple, non-jargon language so the content explains the offer instead of selling it aggressively.

Value delivered to users

The website immediately shows who the brand is for and how it works. Clear content paths help both investors and borrowers quickly reach the information that matters to them. At the same time, the platform supports long-term growth, allowing the brand to develop educational content and build clarity over time.

The most interesting challenge

The core challenge was creating one experience for two very different audiences. Each group required a distinct tone and visual approach, without breaking the overall brand consistency. Finding that balance through structure, hierarchy, and visual detail was the most demanding and satisfying part of the process.

Two distinct communication paths: investors and borrowers

The brand identity and website structure were designed to clearly separate communication for investors and borrowers. This division enables quick access to the right content, organises messaging, and supports a consistent communication approach tailored to the needs of each group.

A knowledge base designed for borrowers

Information was grouped and presented in a simple, approachable format, making it easy to explore topics and make confident decisions.

Transparent branding that builds trust

A restrained visual language and clear structure communicate stability and security, which are essential values in the financial sector.

An investor-focused knowledge base

A dedicated knowledge base was created with content tailored specifically to investors. Articles were organised by topic to support efficient analysis of investment-related issues.

Expertise, mission, and vision made clear

Combining clear messaging with a structured visual approach helps build authority and trust in the eyes of potential audiences.

Vision

A visual foundation built on stability and professionalism

Design

The primary role of the design was to build trust.

A restrained aesthetic, thoughtful use of colour, and a clear hierarchy of information reinforced a sense of stability and professionalism. Instead of sharply separating services into visually distinct sections, the site was designed as one coherent, calm layout, differentiating audiences mainly through content structure and subtle visual accents. Custom brand graphics, developed during the concept and branding phase, further strengthened the site’s character while maintaining overall visual consistency.

Development

From a development perspective, the site was planned as a scalable platform rather than a closed, one-time project.

An intuitive CMS allows the client’s team to independently add and edit content without technical barriers, which is essential for regular publishing aimed at both investors and borrowers. The CMS structure was designed to organise different content types and support future growth without disrupting the layout. Additional blog features, such as filters, help users easily find relevant materials.

Komunikacja

The focus was on clarity.

My role focused on defining what is communicated in each section, how communication is separated between investors and borrowers, and how information is introduced progressively so users are not overwhelmed at first contact.
